On Thursday 15 March 2018 Professor David D’Avray of University College London will deliver the next Methodological Masterclass on the history of religion, specifically on how we can best approach religious motives in our research, drawing on his monograph Medieval Religious Rationalities. How to assess the significance of religious thinking has often proven a methodological challenge, having been long neglected in a number of historiographies. It is also relevant to the wider study of ideology.
The masterclass will be held in room MAL 251 in the Birkbeck Main Building from 18:00 to 20:00.
