4 part-time internships: Birkbeck Institute for Social Research & Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities
The Birkbeck Institute for Social Research (BISR) and the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities (BIH) are cross-School interdisciplinary research centres that act as a hub for research at Birkbeck and beyond.
We are seeking 4 part-time interns for a period of one year to assist with the work of the Institutes for 3 hours/week. The interns will work both independently and alongside the Directors and the Manager of the two Institutes and will develop invaluable generic skills which will contribute to their future academic careers.

Salary: Grade 5 of the College’s London Pay Scale which is £27,848 rising to £31,693 pro-rata per annum.
This post is part time, 120 hours over the year and fixed term for a period of 12 months. The salary quoted above is inclusive of London allowance. The appointment is subject to a probationary period of 6 months.
Prospective candidates are expected to familiarise themselves with the work of both Institutes.
