News from your student reps

Summer Term updates and information from your student reps:

  1. Please let us know your views on research student provision for a College-led consultation.

Prof. Carol Watts, who is the Assistant Dean for Postgraduate Research in the School of Arts, is currently undertaking a College-wide review of research student provision. She’s speaking to all the Schools and central departments about what Birkbeck currently offers research students, how that could be improved, and what the College would like to start offering in future. As part of this process, she will be meeting with all research student reps.  She is interested in our views on funding, training, facilities, and other elements of the research student experience here at Birkbeck.  What do you think is working well? What needs to be improved? It is important that our views are heard so please send your thoughts, concerns, and suggestions to Sue by the end of Monday 8 June: sblunn01@mail.bbk.ac.uk
