The next two PhD writing workshops will be held on
- Thursday 14 May (43 Gordon Square, room G02), 6-8pm
- Thursday 11 June (Dreyfus room, 28 Russel Square), 6-8pm.
All PhD students in History, Classics and Archaeology are welcome. In these meetings, we will be reading two extracts from theses in progress and offering constructive criticism and suggestions about structure, argument, style, use of sources and anything else that comes up. Two extracts have already been submitted for May 14 but if you have a piece of 2,500-3,000 words that you would like to submit for discussion on June 11, please contact Jana, firstname.lastname@example.org. It doesn’t have to be finished or polished; useful feedback guaranteed.
The workshops are co-ordinated and chaired by Maria Margaronis and Dr Caroline Goodson.
