In the late 1960s a movement arose in Britain dedicated to the democratisation and radicalisation of historical study and debate. By the mid 1970s the History Workshop movement had become hugely influential, and its impact is still felt today.

Three historians who were active in History Workshop come together to talk about the movement and its legacies.

Geoff Eley (Michigan; Distinguished Visiting Professor, Queen Mary UL)

Bill Schwarz (Queen Mary UL)

Barbara Taylor (Queen Mary, UL)
