The School of Social Science, History and Philosophy at Birkbeck is launching a new doctoral seminar to give research students more space to discuss theory. The Critical Theory Doctoral Seminar – open to all doctoral students across the School of Social Sciences, History and Philosophy – will be a space for both close readings of fundamental texts in the tradition of critical theory, and for presentations and discussions of students’ research, in the hope that new intersections of ideas and approaches will be beneficial to all.
When and where?
The CTDS will run every last Monday of every month from 6 to 8pm, starting Monday 28 of January in room 501, 30 Russell Square.
